ENSBURY PARK ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH - MICRO ASPHALT SURFACING WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHY:

- Ensbury Park Road, closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time, from its junction with Wimborne Road to its junction with Cherries Drive. Any vehicles left obstructing the works risk receiving a Penalty Charge Notice and being removed. To enable Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to carry out Micro Asphalt Surfacing Works.

Ashton Road (eastbound), no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time, from its junction with The Avenue to its junction with Wimborne Road. To ensure the safe passage for the re-routed bus services.

WHEN: Anticipated dates: 12th February 2024 until 23rd February 2024. Works are anticipated to take place from 8am until 6pm each day.

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety. Residents will be notified by letter regarding access.

DIVERSION: Via Wimborne Road, Castle Lane West and Redhill Avenue

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
