What is happening?
REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE WORKS
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2024
Not less than 7 days here from the Council intends to
make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 as amended because works are being or are
proposed to be executed on or near the length of road
specified below.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle
from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the
schedule below. Access will be available to residents
properties within the closure. Local diversions will be
inoperation.
The Order will come into operation from 12.2.24 and
remain in operation for 18 months. Closures will be
signed in advance of the works taking place.
SCHEDULE
B1366 Station Road, Loftus – At the A174 junction
10 metres along station road and 10 metres along
Westfield 5 days from 26.2.24
A174 Eastbound carriageway, Lazenby – Between
A1053 Greystone Road Roundabout to A1043
Kirkleatham Lane. 2 weeks.
Grewgrass Lane, New Marske – Between A174
Roundabout to Sandy Lane. 5 days.
Wilton Lane, Guisborough – Between the A174 and
Chaloner School giving access to the properties on
Mount Pleasant and the Farms. 2 days from 12.2.24.
Sandy Lane, New Marske – Between Longbeck Lane
and the B1269 giving access to Farms. 2 days.
