Notice Is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council In not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Castle Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2024

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 2000 hours and 0600 hours each night, between Tuesday 13 February 2024 and Thursday 15 February 2024, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Castle Street, between its junctions with Union Street and Union Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Elmsworth Lane, Porchfield, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2024

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2024

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic & Temporary Revocation of 6'6 Width Restriction) Order No 1 2024

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 12 February 2024 until 1800 hours on Thursday 15 February 2024, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Queens Road between its junctions with Esplanade Road and Castle Hill. The 6'6 Width restriction will be revoked along Baring Road between its junctions with Egypt Hill and Ward Avenue. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
