TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council has made following Orders under Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH BB10 (PART), BEMBRIDGE, ISLE OF WIGHT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION PEDESTRIANS) ORDER N0 1 2024

The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Thursday 8 February 2024 for six months or when the work has been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any pedestrian to proceed along the part of Public Footpath BB10 between its junctions with Public Footpath BB15 and Public Footpath BB16. The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public. During the period of closure, the alternative route will be Public Footpath BB15, Hillway Road and Public Footpath BB16.

THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH F35 (PART), AFTON DOWN, ISLE OF WIGHT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION PEDESTRIANS) ORDER N01 2024

The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Friday 9 February 2024 for six months or when the work has been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any pedestrian to proceed along the part of Public Footpath F35 between its junctions with Public Bridleway F34 (on the opposite side of the road) and the car parking area towards Freshwater Bay (on the opposite side of the road). The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public. During the period of closure, the alternative route will be Byway F33 & Bridleway F34 on the opposite side of the road at Afton Down.

THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NT38 (PART), CASTLEHAVEN, ISLE OF WIGHT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION PEDESTRIANS) ORDER N0 1 2024

The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Monday 5 February 2024 for six months or when the work has been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any pedestrian to proceed along the part of Public Footpath NT38 between its junctions with Castlehaven caravan park and the start of the National Trust land (west of the caravan park). The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public. During the period of closure, the alternative route will be Castlehaven Lane, path NT40 and paths over National Trust land.

THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH T34 (PART), TOTLAND, ISLE OF WIGHT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION PEDESTRIANS) ORDER N01 2024

The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Wednesday 31 January 2024 for six months or when the work has been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any pedestrian to proceed along the part of Public Footpath T34 between its junctions with the landslip at Warden Ledge and Totland Pier). The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public. During the period of closure, the alternative route will be Colwell Chine Road, Public Footpaths, T1, T2 and Madeira Road.
