PUBLIC NOTICE 

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PLANETARY ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting pedestrians and cyclists from proceeding on Planetary Road Footway/Cycle Way between Wednesfield Way and the side of property 34 Planetary Road. The Order may operate for a maximum period of six months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 12 February 2024 until 1 March 2024. The pedestrian diversion route is: Wednesfield Way, Planetary Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate a gas reinforcement scheme by Cadent Gas.
