Paxford Road, Temporary Closure due to Pipe Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended)

PAXFORD ROAD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a service pipe relay and associated works in Paxford Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit:-

(a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Paxford Road, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 80 and 82 Paxford Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Paxford Road;

(b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the north-eastern footway of Paxford Road, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 80 and 82 Paxford Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Paxford Road;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed. The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply between 28th February 2024 and 1st March 2024 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Paxford Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
