NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
• The Street, Marksbury, Bath from a point outside 75 The Street extending north east to a point outside the property known as Copperfield. USRN: 47903909.
• Marksbury Bottom, Marksbury, Bath from a point outside the property known as The Paddock extending north west to a point outside Court Farm. USRN: 47903913.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer renovations on the 5th February 2024 for a maximum period of 4 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
• Marksbury Bottom is anticipated to be closed for ONE WEEK from 5th February 2024
• The Street is anticipated to be closed for ONE WEEK from 12th February 2024
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Street – The Street (remainder) – A39 Bath Road – Winsbury View – The Street – vice versa.
Marksbury Bottom – Dead-end road. Access will be maintained for residents.

TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF A ONE-WAY RESTRICTION
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE ONE-WAY RESTRICTION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and motor vehicles, suspend all parking to vehicles, introduce a one-way restriction and suspend a one-way restriction in the lengths of roads listed in Schedules 1 and 2.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out highway improvement works from the 5th February 2024, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and will not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. The anticipated timescale for each closure is listed in Schedules 1 and 2 below.

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNES WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a temporary suspension of the 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight restriction to permit vehicles over 7.5 tonnes to travel along the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 1 of this order, as part of a National Highways diversion route .
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Highways to carry out essential drainage works on parts of the A36 Warminster Road on the 21st February 2024 for a maximum period of 12 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. The works are anticipated to be carried out over FIVE NIGHTS BETWEEN 20:00 - 06:00HRS ONLY.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out a new supply upgrade on the 19th February 2024 for a maximum period of 2 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for drainage improvement works to remove highway flooding by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 19th February 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO WEEKS.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to replace a Section 81 cover in the carriageway on the 20th February 2024 for a maximum period of 2 nights. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE NIGHT between 19:00 - 22:30hrs only.
