(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of The Street, Ubley from its junction with the A368 extending north to its junction with Tucker’s Lane. USRN: 47917850.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to replace a BT pole on the 19th February 2024 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00 - 16:00hrs only.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Ham Lane, Bishop Sutton from its junction with Stitchings Shords Lane extending north for approximately 80 metres. This order also suspends the one-way restriction in that length of Ham Lane to allow residents to access Ham Lane from the junction with Hollowbrook Lane/Bonhill Lane. USRN: 47902623
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach safe access to carry out a pole replacement on the 19th February 2024 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE ONE-WAY RESTRICTION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and motor vehicles, suspend all parking to vehicles, introduce a one-way restriction and suspend a one-way restriction in the lengths of roads listed in Schedules 1 and 2.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out highway improvement works from the 5th February 2024, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and will not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. The anticipated timescale for each closure is listed in Schedules 1 and 2 below.
