What is happening?

(Boyton Cross Lane, Roxwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Boyton Cross Lane, Roxwell in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 100m north east of its junction with Stone Hill Road for adistance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th February 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF6L9T5V3 – Openreach).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Boyton Cross Lane, Bishops Stortford Road, Roxwell Road, Rainsford Road, Parkway, Rainsford Lane, Waterhouse Lane, Westway, London Road, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Highwood Road Roundabout, Ongar Road West, Ongar Road, Radley Green Road, Stonehill Road, Boyton Cross Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Redcliffe Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Redcliffe Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Moulsham Street to its junction with Marlborough Road a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2349044 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Moulsham Street, Queen Street, Marlborough Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pound Lane, South Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pound Lane, South Benfleet in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001290269 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while survey works are undertaken by Cadent.
Alternative routes are available via:
1. Southend Arterial Road, Nevendon Road Roundabout, East Mayne, East Mayne Roundabout Junction Cranes Farm Road, Felmores Roundabout, Broadmayne Roundabout, South Mayne, Broadway Link Roundabout, Pitsea Bypass, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, London Road (with access only into Pound Lane).
2. London Road, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, A130 New Bypass, Canvey Way, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road from A127 to A132 Westbound, Southend Arterial Road (with access only into Pound Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the City of Chelmsford, as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 25th January 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying new duct works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
The Order came into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Writtle Road/Ivy Barn Lane, Margaretting) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Writtle Road, Margaretting in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 340m north west of its junction with Main Road for a distance of approximately 225m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Ivy Barn Lane, Margaretting in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Writtle Road for a distance of approximately 220m in a south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN01347609/B – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.

A12, Three Mile Hill Roundabout, Three Mile Hill, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Highwood Road Roundabout, Highwood Road, The Causeway, Highwood Road and vice versa,
OR Main Road, White Place Roundabout, Link Between Three Mile Hill Roundabout and Whites Place Roundabout, Three Mile Hill Roundabout, Three Mile Hill, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout, Margaretting Road and vice versa (with access only into Nathans Lane, Writtle Road and Wantz Road).
