What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
BIRMINGHAM ROAD, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the Cemetery
entrance to the County Boundary.
Reason for Order: To safely enable access to telecoms mast for
testing/maintenance works, overnight 21.00hrs-05.00hrs.
Order Commences: 6 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, Lichfield Road,
Stonebridge Road, Coventry Road, Coleshill Heath Road, Chester
Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM, Tel: 01652 656 291.
B4114 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, COLESHILL
Order Effect: A 30mph Speed Limit will be imposed from B4114
Birmingham Road/Manor Drive roundabout to a point 470m east of
the A452 Collector Road/B4114 Birmingham Road roundabout.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the
contractors progressing HS2 related works.
Order Commences: 4 February 2024 until such time as the works
to which the Order relates have been completed and this Order has
been revoked.
Anticipated Completion: 1 December 2026.

HOGGRILLS END LANE, NETHER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Dingle Lane
and Old Farm Lane.
Reason for Order: To enable works to lay gas service from main.
Order Commences: 5 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Hoggrills End Lane, Ridley Lane, Tamworth
Road, Gate Lane, Middle Lane, Station Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For Cadent Gas, Headway TM, Tel: 01564 820 118.
HIGH STREET, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Birmingham
Road and Bramble Close.
Reason for Order: Works for the installation of a water hydrant.
Order Commences: 5 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, Lichfield Road, High
Street and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW GTM (Network Plus), Tel: 084585 040 123.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the
following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A4097 KINGSBURY ROAD, CURDWORTH/LEA MARSTON
Order Effect: Road closed between Dunton Island and Haunch
Lane.
Reason for Order: Pre-surface dressing patching works, closed
20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 23 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: A4097, A51, A5, A4091, A446, Dunton Island
and vice versa.
Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and
residents only.

B4111 MANCETTER ROAD/HARPERS LANE, MANCETTER
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the
junctions of the A5 Watling Street and Mill Lane.
Reason for Order: Pre-surface dressing patching and associated
works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 20 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: B4111 Nuneaton Road, Woodford Lane, A5
Watling Street and vice versa. No access/egress to/from D236
Mancetter Road and D239 Harpers Lane via the B4111 whilst
works are in progress, access/egress via B4116 Witherley Road
only.

WHATELEY LANE, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside
property number 29.
Reason for Order: To enable drainage works.
Order Commences: 18 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Whateley Lane, Back Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: UK Drainage Claims Ltd, Tel: 07534 091 786.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and
egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of
road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access
will be maintained where possible.
