(Holywell Lane, Shadwell, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for New Electricity Connection – Excavate & locate cable, Leeds City Council has made an Order on 25 January 2024, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Holywell Lane, Shadwell, Leeds in the Harewood Ward from a point adjacent to Spencer House, Holywell Lane to a point adjacent to Shadwell Recreation Centre. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Holywell Lane, Main Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 29 January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 6 February 2024. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Substation replacement, Leeds City Council has made an Order on the 25 January 2024, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Odda Lane, Leeds in the Guiseley & Rawdon Ward from a point adjacent to Stone Croft to the entrance to the Cemetery. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Old Lane, Hillings Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 29 January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 1 March 2024. The closure will be between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Emergency Road Closure – due to failure of cathartic protection, Leeds City Council made an Order on 25 January 2024, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Marshall Street, Holbeck, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward at its junction with Sweet Street and Sweet Street West. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Marshall Street, Water Lane, Great Wilson Street, Meadow Lane, Dewsbury Road, Jack Lane, Marshall Street; or Marshall Street, Jack Lane, Dewsbury Road, Meadow Road, Victoria Road, Water Lane, Marshall Street; or Sweet Street, Meadow Road, Victoria Road, Water Lane, Marshall Street; or Marshall Street, Water Lane, Great Wilson Street, Meadow Lane, Dewsbury Road, Meadow Road, Sweet Street; or Sweet Street West, Bath Road, Water Lane, Marshall Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 29th January 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 12th February 2024. (Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (holding of events at Headingley Stadium), Leeds City Council made an Order on 25 January 2024, the effect of which is as follows:- Part 1: 1. No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Michael’s Lane between its junctions with Newport View and Beechwood Crescent; between Midnight and 23:59 hours on the date of any of the events specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; 2. No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Michael’s Lane, between its junctions with Cardigan Road and Newport View; other than in a south westerly direction, between Midnight and 23:59 hours on the date of any of the events specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; 3. No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newport View between its junction with St Michael’s Lane and Newport Road; other than in in a south easterly direction, between Midnight and 23:59 hours on the date of any of the events specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; 4. No person shall cause any vehicle to enter or be in the 3 disabled bays on Kirkstall Lane, or to wait with the exception of Taxi’s between Midnight and 23:59 hours on the date of any of the events specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

Part 2: 1. No person shall cause any vehicle to stop on any of the length of road listed below between Midnight and 23:59 hours (or such shorter period as may be advertised) on the date of any of the events specified (PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles used in connection with the relevant event or by arrangement with the organisers). St Michael’s Lane: Both sides, Stanmore Hill to St Michael’s Road, except existing coach bays. Beechwood Crescent: Both sides, St Michael’s Lane to Graham Grove, except existing coach bays. Kirkstall Lane: Both sides, Cardigan Road to The Turnways, except existing disabled parking bays; and South side, The Turnways to St Ann’s Lane. Headingley Mount: Both sides, Kirkstall Lane to Canterbury Road; East side, Canterbury Road to Ash Road; and Both sides, Ash Road to At Anne’s Road. Cardigan Road: Both sides, Kirkstall Lane to Bainbrigge Road; West side, Bainbrigge Road to the southern end of Chapel Lane; and East side, for 30m either side of the junction with Victoria Road. Victoria Road: Both sides, Cardigan Road for 30m. St Michael’s Grove: West side, Cardigan Road for a distance of 50m. St Michael’s Road: Both sides, St Michael’s Terrace to Granby Road. Canterbury Road: Both sides, Headingley Mount to Back Headingley Mount; South side, Back Headingley Mount to Headingley Avenue. Headingley Avenue: Both sides, Kirkstall Lane to Canterbury Road. Estcourt Avenue: Both sides, Kirkstall Lane to Canterbury Road. St Anne’s Drive: South side, St Ann’s Lane for 40m. St Ann’s Lane: East side, St Anne’s Drive to St Ann’s Way. St Ann’s Way: Both sides the whole. St Ann’s Square: Both sides the whole. Queenswood Rise: Both sides the whole. Stanmore Crescent: Both sides, St Anne’s Drive to Stanmore Terrace. Stanmore Terrace: Both sides, the whole. Bentcliffe Drive: West side, the whole. Batcliffe Mount: West side, the whole. St Chad’s Drive: South side, the whole. St Chad’s View: Both sides, St Chad’s Drive to Beckett’s Park Drive. Beckett’s Park Drive: North/West side, St Chad’s Drive to St Anne’s Road. Newport View: East side, the whole. Newport Crescent: North side, the whole.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Installation of SW Drain Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Amberton Crescent, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Amberton Grove and Amberton Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Amberton Grove, Amberton Gardens, Amberton Lane. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Sweet Street, Holbeck, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward between its junctions with Sweet Street and Sweet Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Dewsbury Road, Jack Lane, Marshall Street. Marshall Street, Jack Lane, Meadow Road. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 19th February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.  The works are expected to be completed by Friday 9th August 2024. The closure will be in place for 24hrs each day.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to replace gas tees, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Walkers Row and Swincar Avenue, Yeadon, Leeds in the Guiseley & Rawdon Ward and Otley & Yeadon Ward between its junctions with Queensway and Kirk Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Queensway, Haworth Lane, Kirk Lane and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Saturday 17 February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Saturday 24 February 2024. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for permanent surfacing and installation of road markings, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Elland Road/Ingram Road Distributor (Northbound), Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward, between its junctions with Wesley Street and Gelderd Road, and 2. Ingram Road Distributor (Southbound), Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward, between its junctions with Wortley Lane and M621 J2. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available: For closure Northbound traffic via: Wesley Street, Town Street, Old Lane, Ring Road Beeston Park, Dewsbury Road, Ring Road Beeston, Gelderd Road, Whitehall Road, Ingram Road Distributor. For Southbound traffic accessing M621 via: Wortley Lane, Domestic Street, Domestic Road, Gelderd Road, Ring Road Beeston, Dewsbury Road, Old Lane, Town Street, Wesley Street, Elland Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from:

a. Monday 19th February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Saturday 23rd March 2024. The closure will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00 hrs on each day, and will exclude Tuesday 5th March 2024 and Monday 11th March 2024 to Thursday 14th March 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for resurfacing works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Morris Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Kirkstall Lane and The Rise. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Morris Lane, Abbey Walk, Abbey Road, Kirkstall Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 19th February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.  The works are expected to be completed by Friday 15th March 2024. (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for construction works and associated logistics at Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No pedestrian shall proceed in the length of footpath as specified:  Closure of Bridle Path Skelton Lake, starting at Beckside Crescent and finishing along Pontefract Lane. A diversionary route for pedestrians will be to use the pedestrian footpath around the perimeter of the site. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 9th February 2024 and will remain in force until 1st June 2024 or until the works are completed if earlier. The closure will be in place for 24hrs on each day. Leeds City Council proposes to make the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (TRAFFIC REGULATION) (MOVEMENT RESTRICTION) (No.2) ORDER 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order is one way traffic for all vehicles except cycles on Elmwood Lane, Sheepscar, from its junction with Lovell Park Road in a generally north westerly direction to a point 19 metres south east of its junction with Clay Pit Lane.

Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.
