ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF A631 TICKHILL ROAD MALTBY ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A631 Tickhill Road, Maltby from its junction with Quilter Road to its junction with Stoney Well Lane for a period of up to two weeks between Monday 5th. February and Friday 15th. March 2024 between 7.30 p.m. and 5.30 a.m. each day.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via A631 Tickhill Road, A631 Rotherham Road, A60 Worksop Road, A60 Doncaster Road, A634 Blyth Road, B6247 Muglet Lane, A631 Tickhill Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Carriageway repairs).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7)
PARTS OF A631 BAWTRY ROAD MALTBY ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY 10 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTIONS)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to suspend parts of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and to temporarily reduce the existing speed limits to 10 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along the two parts of A631 Bawtry Road, Maltby specified in the Schedule to this notice for various periods of time between Monday 5th February and Monday 4th March 2024.
The reason for the revocations is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Safety of site personnel whilst undertaking road junction improvements and resurfacing).
SCHEDULE
(i) To temporarily reduce from 30 miles per hour to 10 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A631 Bawtry Road, Maltby from its junction with Denby Way roundabout to its junction with Rotherham Road.
(ii) To temporarily reduce from 40 miles per hour to 10 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A631 Rotherham Road, Maltby from its junction with Bawtry Road to its junction with Addison Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Rockcliffe Road, Rawmarsh from its junction with High Street/ Rawmarsh Hill to the western kerb line of Wilton Close on Wdenesday 14th. February 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A633 High Street, Bellows Road, Green Lane, Barbers Avenue and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Cranage).

PART OF MILL LANE WATH UPON DEARNE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Mill Lane on Monday 12th. February 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via B6089 Packman Road, Stubbin Road,
B6090 Wentworth Road, A633 Warren Vale Road roundabout Warren Vale, Woodman roundabout, Blackamoor Road, A633 Warren Vale Road, A633 Wath Wood Road, Quarry Hill Road, Newhill Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Replacement of manhole cover and frame).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF WHYBOURNE GROVE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Whybourne Grove from its junction with Whybourne Terrace for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a south westerly direction from Monday 12th. February until Friday 16th. February 2024.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunication works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Rockcliffe Road, Rawmarsh from its junction with High Street/ Rawmarsh Hill to the western kerb line of Wilton Close on Tuesday 13th. February 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A633 High Street, Bellows Road, Green Lane, Barbers Avenue and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Water works).

VARIATION OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE TABLE OF FARES
Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 – Section 65 Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council intends to vary the table of fares for hackney carriages as follows:
Charges for distance:
Tariff 1 For hirings between 0600hrs and 2000hrs (with the exception of any days or times covered by Tariff 2 or Tariff 3)
For first 80 yds or part thereof - £3.00
Then for each 80 yds or part thereof up to 880 yds (1/2 mile) - £0.10
Then for each 110 yds or part thereof up to 1760 yds (1 mile) - £0.10
Then for each 104 yds or part thereof up to 10600 yds (approx. 6miles) - £0.10
Then for each subsequent 93 yds or part thereof - £0.10
Waiting time (for each period of one minute or part thereof) - £0.30
Tariff 2 For hirings between 2000hrs and 0600hrs and all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays (with the exception of any days or times covered by Tariff 3)
For first 88 yds or part thereof - £3.20
Then for each 88 yds or part thereof up to 1760 yds (1 mile) - £0.10
Then for each 93 yds or part thereof up to 10602 yds (approx. 6 miles) - £0.10
Then for each subsequent 80 yds or part thereof - £0.10
Waiting time (for each period of one minute or part thereof) - £0.40
Tariff 3 For hirings between 1500hrs on 24th December and 0600hrs on 27th December or between 1500hrs on 31st December and 0600hrs on 2nd January
For first 160 yds or part thereof - £5.30
Then for each 80 yds or part thereof up to 10560 yds (6 miles) - £0.10
Then for each subsequent 70 yds or part thereof - £0.10
Waiting time (for each period of one minute or part thereof) - £0.40
Charges applicable to all tariffs:
Soiling charge
Large Group Surcharge (to be applied in cases where there are more than four passengers present in the vehicle at any one time – the multiplier will be applied to the whole of the final fare as stated on the meter)
These variations will take effect 14 days from the publication of this notice unless an objection to the proposed variation is received before this date.
Copies of this Notice can be made available to view at Rotherham MBC Riverside House without payment during normal office hours for 14 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
Any person wishing to object to the making of the variations to the table of hackney carriage fares may do so by writing to the Licensing Manager, Rotherham MBC, Riverside House, Main St, Rotherham, S60 1AE within the said period of 14 days.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTIONS 14(1) AND 14(7)
PART OF A633 HIGH STREET RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF BUS LANE ORDER)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to suspend the Bus Lane Order 2022 relating to that part of A633 High Street, Rawmarsh in both directions between Bellows Road and Haugh Road from Monday 12th. February until Monday 26th. February 2024.
The reason for the suspension is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Remedial works).

(OFF STREET) (PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO.94) ORDER 2024
Wellgate Place, Rotherham
Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the borough of Rotherham in exercise of its powers under sections 32 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and Schedule 9 to that Act, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers proposes to make the above-mentioned order. It is proposed to introduce an unadopted road regulated by the Council off Hollowgate, Rotherham which will serve as a ‘permit holders only’ road. The proposed days and hours of operation, the maximum period for which vehicles may wait and the scale of charges that will apply are specified in the Schedule to this notice.
