Kentmere Road, Temporary Prohibitation of Vehicles Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL
(C5055 KENTMERE ROAD, STAVELEY) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the C5055 Kentmere Road, Staveley from its junction with Brow Foot Lane, extending in a northerly direction for a distance of approx. 50metres.
There is no suitable alternative route for available vehicles.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 8th February 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 2 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
