HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN STEVENAGE AND WATTON AT STONE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads, whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A602 Broadhall Way, Stevenage and A602 (Hooks Cross/ Watton at Stone Bypass), Watton at Stone from its junction with the Shephall Way/Oaks Cross roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the A602 Ware Road/A119 Hertford Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 6529m.
An alternative route will be via A602 Broadhall Way, A1(M), A414 (Great North Road/Hertford Road/Hatfield Road/Cole Green Bypass/Hertingfordbury Road/Gascoyne Way/London Road/Rush Green Link), A10 (unnamed road) and A602 (Westmill Road/Tonwell Bypass/Ware Road) or via A602 (Ware Road/Tonwell Bypass/Westmill Road), A10 (unnamed road), A414 (Rush Green Link/London Road/Gascoyne Way/Hertingfordbury Lane/Cole Green Bypass/Hatfield Road/Hertford Road/Mount Pleasant Lane/Great North Road), A1(M) and A602 Broadhall Way or via A602 (Ware Road/Tonwell Bypass/Westmill Road), A10 (unnamed road), A414 (Rush Green Link/ London Road/Gascoyne Way/Hertingfordbury Lane/Cole Green Bypass/ Hatfield Road/Hertford Road), A1000 (Hertford Road/Chequers/Broadwater Road/Bessemer Road/Mundells/Bessemer Road/Hertford Road/Welwyn Bypass Road), B197 (Great North Road/Mardley Hill/London Road/ Stevenage Road/London Road/Monkswood Way) and A602 Broadhall Way.
2. that length of High Street, Watton at Stone from its junction with the A602 Hooks Cross/A602 Watton at Stone Bypass roundabout south eastwards to its junction with Walkern Road, a distance of approximately 782m.
An alternative route will be via A602 Broadhall Way, B197 (Monkswood Way/ London Road/Stevenage Road/London Road/Mardley Hill/Great North Road), A1000 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Hertford Road/Bessemer Road/Mundells/ Bessemer Road/Broadwater Road/Chequers/Hertford Road), A414 (Hertford Road/Hatfield Road/Cole Green Bypass/Hertingfordbury Lane/Gascoyne Way/ London Road/Rush Green Link), A10 (unnamed road), A602 (Westmill Road/ Tonwell Bypass/Ware Road), Ware Road and High Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLD CHRISTMAS LANE, THUNDRIDGE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cold Christmas Lane, Thundridge from its junction with Kettle Green Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 51m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Kettle Green Lane, B1004 (Widford Road/ Medcalf Hill/High Street/Ware Road/Widbury Hill/Star Street), A1170 (High Street/Baldock Road/Wadesmill Road), Cambridge Road and Cold Christmas Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST MARYS LANE, HERTINGFORDBURY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of St Marys Lane, Hertingfordbury from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.11 St Marys Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 11m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via St Marys Lane, Hertingfordbury Road and St Marys Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROWLEYS ROAD, HERTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rowleys Road, Hertford from its junction with Cromwell Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 22m (“the Road”).
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 19 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HAILEY LANE, HODDESDON/HAILEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hailey Lane, Hoddesdon/Hailey from its junction with the A1170 Ware Road/Galley Green roundabout north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with B1197 London Road, a distance of approximately 1762m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road and B1197 (Hertford Road/ London Road).
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SACOMBE POUND, SACOMBE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sacombe Pound, Sacombe from its junction with A602 Tonwell Bypass north eastwards to its junction with Sacombe Green Road, a distance of approximately 1085m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A602 Tonwell Bypass, Whempstead Road, Town Lane, Walkern Road, Benington Road, High Street, B197 (High Street/ White Hill), C11 (unnamed road), Moor Green Road, C14 (unnamed road), Mentley Lane, C16 Great Munden, Munden Road and Sacombe Pound.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 19 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HODDESDON ROAD AND B181 ROYDON ROAD, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Hoddesdon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with B181 Station Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with The Granary, a distance of approximately 530m.
An alternative route will be via B181 Station Road, A1170 Ware Road, Middlefield Road, Stanstead Road and Hoddesdon Road.
2. that length of B181 Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Cappell Lane south eastwards to its junction with Stanstead Abbotts Public Bridleway No.019, a distance of approximately 475m.
An alternative route will be via B181 (High Street/Station Road), A414 Eastwick Road and B181 Roydon Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE A10 NORTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO THE NORTHBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF A10 WADESMILL BYPASS AND THE A10 NORTHBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING FROM THE NORTHBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF A10 WADESMILL BYPASS, WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the northbound carriageway of A10 Wadesmill Bypass, Ware from its junction with the A1170 Wadesmill Road/Cambridge Road roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 Wadesmill Bypass, a distance of approximately 250m.
An alternative route will be via Cambridge Road, Ermine Street, A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road), the A602 Westmill Road roundabout and A10 (unnamed road/Wadesmill Bypass).
2. the A10 northbound slip road leading from the northbound carriageway of A10 Wadesmill Bypass, Ware from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 Wadesmill Bypass north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 166m.
An alternative route will be via A10 Wadesmill Bypass, the A120 Standon Hill/A10 Puckeridge Bypass roundabout, A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road/Amwell Link Road) and A1170 (Pepper Hill/Amwell Hill/London Road/ Viaduct Road/Bridge Foot/High Street/Baldock Street/Wadesmill Road) or via A10 Wadesmill Bypass, Ermine Street and Cambridge Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 February 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF STATION ROAD, WATTON AT STONE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Station Road, Watton at Stone from a point 72m south west of its junction with Moorymead Close south westwards to its junction with Church Lane, a distance of approximately 72m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Station Road, High Street, A602 (Hooks Cross/ Broadhall Way), B197 (Monkswood Way/London Road/Stevenage Road/ London Road), Mardleybury Road, Datchworth Green and Watton Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
