SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNCIL

(Various Footpaths in the Parishes of Aust and Pilning and Severn Beach) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Foot Passengers) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the above order, made by South Gloucestershire District Council on 11 August 2021, has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 2 August 2024 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. effect of the order has closed, temporarily, to foot passengers the following public footpaths – OAU/31/20; OAU/32/30; OAU/32/40; OAU/32/50; OAU/34/20; OAU/34/30; OAU/51/10; OAU/51/20; ORN/1/10; ORN/1/20; ORN/1/30; ORN/1/40; ORN/1/50; ORN/1/60; ORN/1/70; ORN/1/80; ORN/1/70; ORN/1/100; ORN/3/10; ORN/18/10 and ORN/18/20. In addition, the following footpaths will remain open for use but will become no through routes as they will be blocked at the boundary to the ASEA site – OAU/35/20; ORN/7/10; ORN/9/10; ORN/9/20; ORN/9/30; ORN/14/10; ORN/14/20; ORN/16/10 and ORN/75/10. This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon flood defence scheme works between Aust Wharf Road and New Pill Outfall on behalf of the Environment Agency ASEA Flood and would have expired on 2 February 2024.
