What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days Salford City Council (West Egerton Street, Salford) (Temporary One Way) Order 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will temporarily introduce the following restrictions. Temporary one way on: West Egerton St - Northbound lane on West Egerton Street, Salford, M5 4BT. Diversions for vehicles will be via A57 Regent Road - A5066 Oldfield Road - Liverpool Street. 
The Order is necessary for essential works to be done. The order is due to come into operation on the 7th February 2024 and will last for a period of 7 weeks. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
