C144 Benridge Hagg Junction To Fairmoor - Temporary Road Closure

C144 BENRIDGE HAGG JUNCTION TO FAIRMOOR, MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C144 Benridge Hagg Junction To Fairmoor Morpeth from its junction with the U6027 to its junction with the C148 for a length of 1180 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th February 2024 until the 5th August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th February 2024 until the 1st March 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C144, C142, C141, C136, A697, A1, C144, A197 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for civil repair and surface dressing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
