Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Traffic Restrictions

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

BRIGADIER HILL AND BRIGADIER AVENUE EN2 - 4168

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas Works

Operational Dates:

10 February 2024 "At any time" for 8 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to on

• Brigadier Hill, close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road, between its junction with Lancaster Road Brigadier Avenue; and

• Brigadier Avenue, suspend parking on both sides of the road from its junction with Brigadier Hill to outside No.3. While Brigadier Hill is closed local diversions would be in operation.

PARSONAGE LANE EN2 - 4169

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water Works

Operational Dates:

10 February 2024 "At any time" for 2 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between Nos. 128 and 146. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

HASELBURY ROAD N9 - 4170

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas Works

Operational Dates:

12 February 2024 "At any time" for 2 weeks or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between Deansway and Central Avenue. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

HERTFORD ROAD EN3 - 4171

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water Works

Operational Dates:

12 February 2024 "at any time" for 3 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close the northbound cycle lane on this road outside No.632. While the cycle lane is closed cyclists would be required to dismount and walk or join the main carriageway to cycle.

ABBEY ROAD EN1 - 4172

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water Works

Operational Dates:

12 February 2024 "at any time" for 5 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking on both sides of this road between Nos. 49 and 53. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

FORTY HILL EN2 - 4173

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Tree Maintenance Works

Operational Dates:

12 February 2024 for 2 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between maidens Bridge and the entrance to Forty Hall. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

TOTTENHALL ROAD N13 - 4174

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highways Works

Operational Dates:

12 February 2024 for 1 week or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

• close this road at its junction with Green Lanes for approximately 30 metres;

• Temporarily revoke the one way Traffic up to Fairbrook Road; and

• suspend parking on both sides of this road between Nos. 3 and 17, and between Nos.31and 35. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

TOTTENHALL ROAD N13 - 4175

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water Works

Operational Dates:

13 February 2024 for 5 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on both sides of this road between Nos. 77 and 83.

DAWLISH AVENUE N13 - 4176

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water Works

Operational Dates:

13 February 2024 "At any time" for 2 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road at its junction with Wilmer Way. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

HOE LANE EN1 - 4177

Reason for 14(1) Order – UKPN Works

Operational Dates:

13 February 2024 "At any time" for 5 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road from its junction with Landridge Drive/Pembroke Avenue for approximately 70 metres eastwards. While the Road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

MONTAGUE ROAD N18 - 4179

Reason for 14(1) Order – District Heating Works

Operational Dates:

12 February 2024 "At any time" for 5 days or until works completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit certain movement of traffic as detailed below:

• No entry into Montagu Road from the junction with Conduit Lane & Kenninghall Road;

• Banned right turn into Montagu Road from Conduit Lane N18;

• Banned Left turn into Montagu Road from Cavendish Close N18; and

• Banned left turn from access road outside 51/53 Montagu Rd N18.

• Waiting and Loading Restrictions on both sides of the road between Nos. 80 and 86 Montagu Road N18.

While the restrictions are in force local diversions will be in operation.
