What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SOUTHLEIGH ROAD, HAVANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Southleigh Road between its junction with Glenleigh Park and its junction with St George's Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Emsworth Road, East Street, North Street, Elm Lane, Park Road North, B2149, Bartons Road, Eastleigh Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 31st January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night between the hours 00:30 -05:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
