What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Main St, Gawcott) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Main Street for approx 61M. Alternative route: Radclive Road, Tingewick Road, Buckingham Road, Main Street, Gawcott Road, Preston Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water sewer repair works commence on 12 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Main St, Charndon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Main St for approx 36M. Alternative route: Steeple Claydon Rd, Portway Rd, Bicester Rd, Twyford To Marsh Gibbon Rd, Twyford Rd, Marsh Gibbon Rd, Station Rd, Little Marsh Rd, Little Marsh, Marsh Gibbon to Charndon Rd, Charndon To Marsh Gibbon Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst works to complete a sewer for foul and storm water drainage commence on 10 Feb 2024. This will take place in 2 phases. Phase 1 10 - 18 Feb 2024. Phase 2 – 29 March - 19 April 2024. Each rd closure will be 24/7. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Waddesdon Hill, Waddesdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Waddesdon Hill for approx 1770M. Alternative route: Winchendon Ridge Rd, Cannons Hill, Nether Winchendon, Bridgeway, Aylesbury Rd, Cuddington Rd, Oxford Rd, Coldharbour Way, Fowler Rd, Gatehouse Rd, Bicester Rd, Waddesdon Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SPL resurfacing works commence on 2 March 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 March 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Neptune Rd, Swanbourne) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Neptune Rd for approx 2004M. Alternative route: Winslow Rd, Swanbourne Rd, Aylesbury Rd, Neptune Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst surfacing works commence on 17 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(The Spans, Boarstall) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in The Spans for approx 2714M. Alternative route: Tramhill, Temple St, High St, The Square, Church St, Thame Rd, Bicester Rd, Foresters and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SPL Resurfacing commence on 9 March 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 March 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Westcott Rd, Ashendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Westcott Rd for approx 1616M. Alternative route: Ashendon Rd, High St, Bicester Rd, Kingswood Ln, Ludgershall Rd, Wotton Underwood, Wotton Rd, Main St and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SPL Surfacing works commence on 22 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

Public Footpath No.2, Parish of Kingsbrook (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that entire length of Public Footpath No.2, Kingsbrook, from the junction of Public Footpath No.8 Bierton to the junction of Public Footpath No.1, Kingsbrook. The closure is required whilst development works take place to erect a new residential estate within the Kingsbrook development site. The alternative route whilst the closure is effective is via existing Highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10th February 2024 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
