NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

Down Road, Portishead, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Date coming into force: 28 March 2024 -Ref: SW23.24-337

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace a pole. This will become operative on the 28 March 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Wild Country Lane, Long Ashton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Pedestrians and Cyclists Order 2024

Date coming into force: 19 February 2024 - Ref: Wild Country Lane, Long Ashton

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by North Somerset Council to allow for safe mechanical removal of diseased ash trees. This will become operative on the 19 February 2024 between 9.30am and 3.30pm for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Long Lane, Wrington North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 2 February 2024 - Ref: T23-80

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The maximum period for the closures is 18 months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

This order was required because of carriageway patching and general maintenance works and will become operative on 2 February 2024, anticipated to be of 8 days in duration between 8am and 5pm.

Schedule - Long Lane from the junction with School Road, Wrington to the junction of Church Road, Redhill. Alternative routes - Redhill, Havyatt Road, Cox's Green, Silver Street, High Street, School Road and vice-versa.

Manor Lane, Abbots Leigh, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Date coming into force: 19 February 2024 -Ref: SW23.24-315

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to renew fire hydrant frame and cover. This will become operative on the 19 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water to CCTV survey of sewer. This will become operative on the 19 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

The Uplands, Nailsea, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Date coming into force: 19 February 2024 - Ref: SW23.24-280

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Avtar Construction Ltd to connect foul water drainage. This will become operative on the 19 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 15 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force. Resident access maintained.

This will become operative on the 19 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This will become operative on the 14 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 2 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This will become operative on the 19 February 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 19 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
