(Crawley – Langley Green: Maiden Lane)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this Notice West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Maiden Lane between Nightingale Close and Lark Rise.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 19 February 2024 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed. The works are expected to commence on or after 19 February 2024 and will take 4 weeks to complete.

Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to SGN, telephone number 0800 9121 700. Any queries about the effect of the Order on cyclists using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105.
