What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – Abbey Wells Road, East Woodhay, Basingstoke

Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

Road To Be Closed: that part of Abbey Wells Road between its junction with Fullers Lane and its junction with Heath End Road.

Alternative Route: Heath End Road, Chalkpit Hill, Stargrove Lane

Duration Of Order: from 12th February 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 days and will be in operation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
