What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Winchester Road, Romsey, Test Valley
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
Road To Be Closed: that part of Winchester Road between its junction with Bridge Road and its junction with Botley Road.
Alternative Route: Winchester Road Cupernham Lane, Fishlake Meadows, Duttons Road, Malmesbury Road, Alma Road.
Duration Of Order: from 12th February 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 9 days between the hours 0800-1700).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
