NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD
TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Roads Within
Macclesfield
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes
to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily
prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Higher Lane, Kettleshulme and
Lyme Handley/Disley – For its full extent.
Heybridge Lane, Prestbury – For its full extent.
Broad Walk, Prestbury – For its full extent.
Buxton Road, North Rode/Bosley/Wincle – For its full extent.
Flash Lane Roundabout, Prestbury – For its full extent.
Flash Lane, Prestbury – For its full extent.
Silk Road, Prestbury – For its full extent.
London Road, Prestbury – For its full extent.
Buxton Road, Disley – For its full extent.
For specific dates and diversions please visit one.network.
This order will come into operation on Monday 19 February 2024
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Monday 18 August 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD
TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Clarke Lane, Bollington
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made
an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Clarke Lane, Bollington – For the
full extent.
The alternative route will be via Oak Lane, Jackson Lane,
Chancery Lane, High Street, Market Place, Palmerston Street,
Wellington Road, Henshall Road, Bollington Road and vice versa
which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 26 February 2024
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 8 March 2024.

Poynton with Worth
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made
an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Dunlin Close, Poynton with Worth –
For the full extent.
No Diversion Needed.
This order will come into operation on Monday 12 February 2024
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Wednesday 28 February 2024.

Public Rights of Way Notice
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984,
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS,
Public Footpath No. 10 (Part) Parish of Adlington
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in
pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5)
of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order effective
from the 3 February 2021 being extended and continuing in force
until 3 February 2026. The effect of which will be to temporarily
prohibit pedestrians on Public Footpath No. 10 Adlington, which
commences at OS grid reference SJ 393230 382379 and runs in
a generally easterly and then generally north easterly direction
to the footbridge at OS grid reference SJ 393383 382439.
The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger
to the public due to flooding and landslip.
The Order continues the restriction that came into effect on
3 February 2021 and will continue in force for a period not
exceeding twenty four months, or until the required works
are completed, whichever is the sooner.
Alternative route There is no alternative route available.
