NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984, the effect of which will be to allow for the closure/restrictions of those lengths of roads specified in the schedules of this notice.

The roads are being closed/ restricted to safely allow for surface dressing, cats eye removals and installation, carriageway patching, road marking, drainage and any other associated Utility and Highway maintenance works to be undertaken.

Any member of public requiring further information should contact Leicestershire Highways on 01163050001. It is expected that the work will start at 07:00 hours on the 19/02/2024 and last for up to 18 months. The Order will come into force when the appropriate traffic signs are erected, on or about the 19/02/2024. Closure details will be confirmed locally in due course. The Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the duration of this order.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/02/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days. EXTENSION NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, with the consent of the Secretary of State, the order made by the Leicestershire County Council on 31/08/2023 and which came into effect on 11/09/2023 will be continued in force until midnight on 10/02/2025 or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

The effect of the Order is to continue to allow for the closure of those lengths of roads as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

The roads are being closed for public safety to continue ongoing infrastructure installations.

The Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the Order. During the closure, an alternative route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

Jeffcoats Lane–for its entire length. Talbot Lane – from its junction with Church Hill for approximately 50 metres. Church Hill – from its junction with Talbot Lane for approximately 50 metres.
