Church Street and Vinery Road - Prohibition of Driving
What is happening?

(Church Street and Vinery Road, Cambridge) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 24th January 2024 Cambridgeshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. This is to continue in force indefinitely the provisions contained in the Experimental Traffic Order relating to these restrictions:-
• Church Street, Cambridge – Prohibition of Driving from 15m north of Lynfield Lane northwards for 2m.
• Vinery Road, Cambridge – Prohibition of Driving from 10m south of Vinery Way southwards for 2m.
For further details of the above, please visit our permanent traffic regulation orders page and select recently made Order PR0821. To request a copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 1st February 2024, please telephone 0345 045 5212 or e-mail policyandregulation@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 24th January 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
