ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(WASHWOOD HEATH ROAD, WARD END) (T2324296) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering or proceeding in either direction along WASHWOOD HEATH ROAD, WARD END from its junction with Membury Road to its junction with Drews Lane.
The Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic is required to essential works in the carriageway to be undertaken in safety.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via High Street, Saltley Viaduct, Heartlands Parkway and Bromford Lane.
The Order will come into operation on 11th February 2024 and will remain in force for a period of TWO WEEKS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
