TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES - VARIOUS ROADS, COUNTYWIDE 2024 (No.5)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

1) Shoe Lane, Upham, Winchester between its junction with Whitehill and its junction with Church Street

2) Pauls Lane, Sway, New Forest between its junction with Coombe Lane and its junction with Pitmore Lane

3) Hawthorn Lane, Alton, East Hampshire between its junction with Hawthorn Road and its junction with Headmoor Lane

4) Highclere Street, Highclere, Basingstoke between its junction with a point adjacent Blakes Farm track and its junction with Church Lane/ Maples Farm

5) Pitmore Lane, Sway, New Forest between its junction with Chapel Lane and its junction with a point adjacent Blundens Cottage

6) Ladywood Avenue, Farnborough, Rushmoor between its junction with Trunk Road and its junction with a point opposite no.14 Ladywood Avenue

7) Penfords Paddock, Winchester between its junction with Shore Lane and its termination

8) Hounsdown Close, Totton, New Forest between its junction with Houndsdown Avenue and its termination

9) Droxford Road, Swanmore, Winchester between its junction with Dodds Lane and its junction with Chapel Road

junction with a point approximately 200 meters South ONE-WAY SUSPENSION - To impose a one-way road on the following road: Meeting House Lane, Ringwood, New Forest the one-way restriction between Western Service Road and High Street will be suspended for the duration of the works. DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th January 2024 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
