THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE LEICESTER (HOTEL STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Hotel Street between its junctions with Cank Street and with Market Place from 7.30am on Monday 5th February 2024 until 3.00pm on Sunday 3rd March 2024.
Diversion route: Silver Street, Guildhall Lane, Applegate. Berridge Street, Horsefair Street, Market Place Approach, Market Place.
The Order will come into effect on the 5th February 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
This order is made to facilitate highway improvement works taking place and to prevent the likeliness of danger to the public. 
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
