Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

 Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

B2016 SEVEN MILE LANE, SEVENOAKS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 21st February 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Wrotham Heath Golf Club. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A20 London Road, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Malling Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

ANNISON STREET, TONBRIDGE, TN9 1HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow roadworks to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Annison Street, Tonbridge, on or after 19th February 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between junctions of Lansdowne Road and The Slade. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Annison Street, Lansdowne Road, Lodge Road, Stafford Road and The Slade.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via The Slade, Bank Street, B2260 High Street, Lansdowne Road and Annison Street.

KILN BARN ROAD, AYLESFORD, ME20 6FJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kiln Barn Road, Aylesford, on or after 10th February 2024 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of New Road and Easterfields, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kiln Barn Road, Easterfields, Sweets Lane, Wateringbury Road, Chapel Street, High Street, New Road, A20 London Road, New Road and vice versa.

LANSDOWNE ROAD, TONBRIDGE, TN9 1HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lansdowne Road, Tonbridge, on or after 5th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 23. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via Lodge Road, Stafford Road, The Slade, Bank Street, B2260 High Street and Lansdowne Road.

The alternative route for any Westbound through traffic is via Lansdowne Road, B2260 High Street, Castle Street, The Slade, Stafford Road and Lodge Road.

LAVENDER HILL, TONBRIDGE, TN9 2AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to take place, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lavender Hill, Tonbridge, on or after 19th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 140. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Priory Road, B2260 Quarry Hill Road, A2014 Pembury Road and vice versa.

LYONS CRESCENT, TONBRIDGE, TN9 1EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lyons Crescent, Tonbridge, on or after 6th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 3. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lyons Crescent, B2021 East Street, A227 Bordyke, B2260 High Street and vice versa.

PRATLING STREET, AYLESFORD, ME20 7DH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow hedge trimming works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pratling Street, Aylesford, on or after 8th February 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Rochester Road and Beddow Way, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Rochester Road, Forstal Road, Beddow Way and vice versa.

RIDING LANE, TONBRIDGE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Riding Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 22nd February 2024 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Vines Lane and Shipbourne Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Riding Lane, B245 Tonbridge Road, B245 London Road, Mill Lane, Underriver House Road, Shipbourne Road and vice versa.
