diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o
Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan
Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn
para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Rhaid cau'r bont er mwyn cynnal gwaith atgyweirio'r parapet.
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Stryd y Porth, y lôn de-ddwyreiniol
o bwynt 70 metr i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’i chyffordd â Maes
Williams, tua'r gogledd-ddwyrain am bellter o 28 metr.
Ffordd Amgen – Ar gael ar hyd Heol Rheola (tua'r gogledd),
S gwâr Tynewydd a Heol Rheola (tua'r de).
Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr a cherbydau'r gwasanaethau
brys.
Bydd mynediad ar gael i eiddo.
Mae disgwyl i'r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau canlynol
n eu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau:-
• Cau'n gyfan gwbl rhwng 10 a 18 Chwefror 2024

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PORTH STREET, PORTH)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff
County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the
date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road
Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a
maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate parapet works to the
bridge.
The effect of the Order will be to close Porth Street, the south
eastern lane from a point 70 metres north east of its junction
with Williams Place, north eastwards for a distance of 28
metres.
Alternative Route – available via Rheola Road (northbound),
T ynewydd Square and Rheola Road (southbound).
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency
service vehicles.
A ccess to premises will be maintained.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following
dates, or until such time as the works has been completed:-
• Full closure between 10th – 18th February 2024
