THE ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (C70 GLEN FRUIN, HELENSBURGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
On Thursday 18th January 2024, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on That length of C70 Glen Fruin, Helensburgh, from junction with A814 Dumbarton-Arrochar Road in a Easterly then Southerly direction to its junction with A818 Sinclair Street for a distance of 11.24 Kilometres or thereby.
The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required because essential works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road will be effective, when indicated by signs, between the hours of 2359 on 7th of February 2024 to 2359 on 16th July 2025, or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier.
Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes, a vehicle being used for carrying out the works or a vehicle requiring access/egress to and from affected properties when possible and as directed by traffic management operatives on site.
