ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 The East Sussex (Public Footpath Hellingly 7a)
(Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 To protect public safety during development, the Secretary of State has extended the above East Sussex County Council’s Order made on 21 January 2022 under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following footpath:-
Temporary Footpath Closure
The whole of Public Footpath Hellingly 7a will be closed between TQ 5889 1173 and TQ 5874 1160. An alternative route will be available around the southern and eastern edges of the field as signed.
The closure will be in force for 12 months from 31 January 2024, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier, which after this period will require an extension from the Secretary of State, should the footpath still be unavailable to use.
