What is happening?
WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL (C5044 MOOR LANE, FLOOKBURGH AND KIRKBARROW, KENDAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. C5044 Moor Lane, Flookburgh, from its junction with Willow Lane, extending in a northerly direction for approx. 500m.
Alternative Route: via Market Street, Allithwaite Road, Wraysholme Lane and Willow Lane.
Duration: From 12th February 2024 for approx 4 months (Ref: TTROW/8923)
2. Kirkbarrow, Kendal, from its junction with Glebe Road, extending in a northerly direction for approx. 95m.
Alternative Route: via Glebe Road and Anchorite Road.
Duration: From 12th February 2024 for approx. 1 month (Ref: TTROW/9382)

The Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
