Dean, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Telecom Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2333 DEAN, NEAR WORKINGTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Morrison Telecom Services to carry out utility works ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U2333 Dean, near Workington from its junction with the C2036, extending in a north easterly direction for approx 300m. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the U2333, C4006, C2030 and the C2031 Branthwaite.

The Order will come into operation on 13 February 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 2 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
