Yorkshire, Public Footpath Definitive Map And Statement Modification And Diversion Order

What is happening?

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion & Definitive Map & Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 & Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 The North Yorkshire Council Public Footpath 05.31/15 Sunnyside Lothersdale Diversion Order 2024.

The above Order, made on 16/01/24, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 will divert the Footpath described below. Public Footpath 05.31/15 will be diverted from its route running from SD 9496 4659 to SD 9503 4671 to SD 9483 4693, onto new route from SD 9496 4659 to SD 9490 4677 to SD 9486 4680 to SD 9483 4693. A copy of the Order & the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Skipton Library, High St, Skipton BD23 1JX - Tel. 01609 534548, North Yorkshire until 23/02/24. Copies may be purchased from Countryside Access Service, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 03001312131) at a cost of £2, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to R D Richardson at the above address or email CATO@northyorks.gov.uk not later than 23/02/24. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential & may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations & objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

Notice of the making of a Definitive Map Modification Order, The North Yorkshire Council, Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, The District of Craven (outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) Definitive Map & Statement, Byway Open to All Traffic No. 05.29/57 Lawkland & 05.11/53 Clapham-cum-Newby, Cragg Lane, Modification Order 2024

The above Order, made on 05/01/24, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map & statement for the area by recording a Byway Open to All Traffic along Cragg Lane, Lawkland & Clapham. The section currently recorded as Bridleway, from Grid Ref SD 7411 6460 running south west to Grid Ref SD 7334 6374, will be amended to Byway Open to All Traffic. The section running south west across the moor from Grid Ref SD 7334 6374 to Grid Ref SD 7267 6345 will be recorded as Byway Open to All Traffic. A copy of the Order as made & the Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Settle Community Library, North Yorkshire until 07/03/24. Copies of the Order & Map may be purchased from Countryside Access Service, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2 or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Mrs Beth Brown, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD, no later than 07/03/24, stating the grounds on which it is made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential & may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, The North Yorkshire Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State or part of it if the Authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 may itself confirm the Order or that part of the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, in whole or in part, any representations or objections which have been duly made & not withdrawn will be sent with it.
