THE A303 TRUNK ROAD (CHICKLADE)
(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
Notice is given that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on 17 January 2024 under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A303 Trunk Road in Wiltshire.
The effect of the Order is to impose a 40 mph speed limit on the A303 eastbound and westbound between 610m west of its junction with the unclassified road to Hindon and 560m east of its junction with the unclassified road to Hindon.
A copy of the Order, a plan, and a statement of National Highways’ reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Hindon Post Office, High Street, Hindon, Salisbury SP3 6DJ and Mere Post Office, 1 Boar Street, Mere, Warminster BA12 6DD they may also be obtained by e-mailing southwestttro@nationalhighways.co.uk, or phoning 0300 470 4177 quoting reference NHSW 01/23.
