What is happening?

(Viola Crescent, Sacriston)

(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Section 14(1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 25 metre length of Viola Crescent, Sacriston to the front of no.9-13 Viola Crescent to enable new telecom infrastructure works to be undertaken.

Throughout the period of closure, no alternative diversion will be available to vehicular traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 12/2/24 between 8am to 6pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 18 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
