(Manor Way, (Riverside Grange Phase 2), North Fambridge, Maldon) (20mph Zone) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under S84(1)(a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To Implement: a '20mph Zone'.
Road - Description
Manor Way - From its junction with The Avenue, for its entire length, including any turn points.
The Order will come into operation on 29 January 2024.

(Colchester Road, Great Totham/Maldon Road, Great Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Great Totham/ Maldon Road, Great Braxted in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 290m north east of its junction with Rookery Lane for a distance of approximately 75m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th February 2024 for 3 nights (21:00-05:00) (3 Sundays only), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003927 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while lining works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Station Road, Factory Hill, D'arcy Road, Oxley Hill, Kelvedon Road, South Street, Church Street, Goldhanger Road, Colchester Road, Broad Street Green Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 1st February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mill Road, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Park Drive for a distance of approximately 220m in a north easterly then north westerly direction, then from its junction with Park Drive for a distance of approximately 270m in a south westerly direction (works to be completed in phases). The closures are scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 99 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001310506 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Cross Road, Fambridge Road, High Street and vice versa (with access only into High Street and Mill Road) then via Mundon Road and vice versa (with access only into Park Drive).
The Order will come into effect on 1st February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Maldon) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.1) 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road and those in the schedule for the duration of the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 1st February 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Conduit Lane, Woodham Mortimer) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Conduit Lane, Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Post Office Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th February 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M84200 -Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber renewal works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Post Office Road, Maldon Road and vice versa (with access only into Conduit Lane).
The Order came into effect on 18th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Plains Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plains Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Beckingham Road to its junction with Totham Hall Green a distance of approximately 435m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013303919 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Plains Road, Loamy Hill Road, Maldon Road, Colchester Road, Chapel Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 18th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rectory Lane, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30016948183 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Burnham Road, Burnham Road - B1018, Main Road, Summerhill, Fambridge Road, Lower Burnham Road and vice versa (with access only into Rectory Lane).
The Order came into effect on 18th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Remembrance Avenue for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th February 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30099048031 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while supply installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Silver Road, Orchard Road, Western Road or Western Road, Orchard Road, Riverside Road (with access only into Station Road and High Street).
The Order came into effect on 18th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(West Street, Tollesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Chapel Road/Back Road/North Road, Tollesbury) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of West Street, Tollesbury in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 100m west of its junction with North Road for a distance of approximately 10m in a westerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction to all traffic on Chapel Road, Tollesbury, in the District of Maldon, from its junction with North Street, to its junction with Colchester and Back Road as cited in 'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Tollesbury, Tolleshunt D'arcy and Tolleshunt Knights) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2013'.
3. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction to all traffic on Back Road, Tollesbury, in the District of Maldon, from its junction with North Road, to its junction with Colchester and Chapel Road as cited in 'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Tollesbury, Tolleshunt D'arcy and Tolleshunt Knights) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2013'.
4. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction to all traffic on North Road, Tollesbury, in the District of Maldon, from its junction with High Street and West Street, to its junction with Back Road as cited in 'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Tollesbury, Tolleshunt D'arcy and Tolleshunt Knights) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2013'.
The closure/suspensions are scheduled to commence on 5th February 2024 for 1 night (19:00 23:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO62992099 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspensions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via North Road, Back Road, Chapel Road, North Street, South Street and vice versa (with access only into West Street and Tollesbury Road).
The Order came into effect on 18th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
