ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(BELL LANE, BYFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Bell Lane, Byfield as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Bell Lane, Byfield from the junction of Banbury Lane to Greenwood Close.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pipe repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use The Twistle, Boddington Road and A361.

(EAST STREET, LONG BUCKBY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of East Street, Long Buckby as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of East Street, Long Buckby from outside number 42.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

(A425 DAVENTRY ROAD, STAVERTON & STAVERTON ROAD, DAVENTRY)
(TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from exceeding 40 mph along those lengths of the A425 Daventry Road, Staverton and Staverton Road, Daventry as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of the A425 Daventry Road, Staverton and Staverton Road, Daventry from the A425/A45 roundabout to 50 mph restriction signs.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety due to a new housing development.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted until 29th July 2024.

(NETHER HEYFORD ROAD, UPPER STOWE)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Nether Heyford Road, Upper Stowe as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Nether Heyford Road, Upper Stowe from the junction of A5 to The Old Forge.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the installation of ducting and boxes for internet.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th February 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for five days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A5, Bridge Road and Farthingstone Road.
