What is happening?

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Frank Perkins Parkway J7 Northbound Off Slip Road – (dedicated left lane only), Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
Order 2024 Ref: 24-368
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Frank Perkins Parkway J7 Northbound Off Slip Road-(dedicated left lane only), as lies between Reeves Way and Eye Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Eastfield Rd East, Oxney Rd Roundabout, Eastfield Rd West. The proposed order will come into force on the 08/02/2024 and will continue until the underground network access works have been completed or until the 07/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 08/02/2024 to the 09/02/2024. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-367
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willesden Avenue, Walton, as lies between Churchfield Road and Fane Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Fane Rd, Montagu Rd, Churchfield Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 06/02/2024 and will continue until the rectification works have been completed or until the 05/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough King Street, Lolham, Maxey. Temporary Prohibition
of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-394
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Lolham,Maxey as lies between points 20 metres either side of the Lolham Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 04/02/2024 and will continue until the Annual Level Crossing Testing works have been completed or until the 03/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Various Footpaths-Bridge Replacement Works, see below schedule:

The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative routes for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order are detailed in the above schedule. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 05/02/2024 and will continue until the bridge replacement works have been completed or until the 04/08/2024, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between the 05/02/2024 and the 29/03/2024.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as City Road as lies between Northminster and Cattle Market Road in a westerly direction only. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Northminster, Broadway, Midgate. This notice is made in the interest of Installation of High Voltage cable/ducting and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 29/01/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Paston Parkway, from Paston Parkway J21 to Werrington Bridge Road J22, in one direction only. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Paston Parkway J21 (SB) to A47 J20, A47J20 WB to J18, Lincoln Road, Werrington Parkway and A15 Glinton Bypass. This notice is made in the interest of Carriageway Repairs and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 29/01/2024. It is expected that the works will take place overnight from 20:00hrs on the 29/01/2024 to 06:00hrs on the 30/01/2024.
