Wester Coates Road, Edinburgh - Temporary Road Restriction

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(WESTER COATES ROAD) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/14

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate raised table repair works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of Wester Coates Rd, from its jnct with West Coates (A8), northwards for 50m. The order shall have effect from 29/1/24 to 1/3/24. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Wester Coates Ave & Wester Coates Ter. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The Greenways order will be suspended in relation to the no waiting at any time restrictions on the affected section of Wester Coates Rd, to facilitate the works.
