PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 45
(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Morpeth Town Public Footpath No 45, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
From a point 210 metres north-east of King Edward VI School in a general north-easterly direction for a distance of 200 metres to a point 180 metres west of the entrance to St Georges Park Hospital.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th January 2024 until 29th July 2024.
Although the closure will be in place for six months it is anticipated that the path will only be closed during the following times:
Monday – Friday 09:15 hours until 15:15 hours.
The closure has been requested by McLaughlin & Harvey in the interests of public safety, to facilitate construction site development.
