ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
ARMSON ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable essential utility maintenance works.
Order Commences: 31 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: Armson Road, Grant Road, Rectory Drive, Black Bank, Coventry Road, Hayes Lane
and vice versa.

D1124 NORFOLK CRESCENT, STOCKINGFORD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed between both its junctions with Cumberland Drive.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works, closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 29 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access/Egress to/from Warwick Gardens and Hereford Close
may also be restricted whilst works are being carried out.

D16480 LEICESTER STREET, BULKINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed between School Road and Barnacle Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works. Road closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 31 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: School Road, Coventry Road, Chequer Street. Limited access to Leicester Court.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH B18 BEDWORTH (NEAL’S GREEN)
Order Effect: Footpath closed to ALL traffic between Grid References 43397 28416 and 43394 28433.
Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public whilst construction works are in progress.
Order Commenced: 30 July 2021 and was due to expire on 29 January 2024. However, the Secretary
of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has
direction that the Order shall continue in force until 29 July 2025 or until completion of the works,
whichever is the earlier (unless the Secretary of State issues a further direction).

PUBLIC FOOTPATH R282 IN THE PARISH OF STRETTON BASKERVILLE
Order Effect: Footpath closed to ALL traffic at Grid reference SP 40215 92855.
Reason for Order: To enable construction works as part of Hinckley to Hartshill pipeline project –
installation of sewer.
Order Commences: 1 February 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Will be appropriately signed.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
BLACKHORSE ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between points 20 metres either side of the Level Crossing.
Reason for Order: To enable works, railway tamping through the level crossing, overnight 23.00hrs-
09.00hrs.
Order Commences: 10 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Blackhorse Road, Ironbridge Way, Grange Road, Oakmoor Road, Longford Road,
Bedworth Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Centurion Traffic Management, Tel: 01132 775 360.
BIRCHLEY HEATH ROAD, ANSLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between points 10 metres and 60 metres south of Green Lane.
Reason for Order: To enable telegraph pole replacement works,09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 16 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Birchley Heath Road, Ridge Lane, Pipers Lane, Coleshill Road, Nuneaton Road and
vice versa.

D17940 BAYTON ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Stephenson Road and
Coventry Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 15 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Bayton Road, Colliery Lane (North), Collery Lane, Coventry Road and vice versa.

D1131 NORTHUMBERLAND AVENUE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with the B4102 Croft Road and
Devon Close.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, weekdays only 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 12 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Northumberland Road, Tomkinson Road, B4102 Croft Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
EDWARD STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed between its junction with Windsor Street.
Reason for Order: To safely enable repair to collapsed pipe.
Order Commences: 12 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Edward Street, Coton Road, Jubilee Way, Queens Road and vice versa.

PLOUGH HILL ROAD, CHAPEL END, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Waggestaff Drive to a point opposite
number 38.
Reason for Order: To enable works to lay new mains.
Order Commences: 12 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Plough Hill Road, Hickman Road, Tunnel Road, Birmingham Road, Coleshill Road,
Ansley Common and vice versa.
Contractor: Fulcrum, Tel: 07557 232 913.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated
adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be
maintained where possible.
