What is happening?
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984SECTION 14 (BROW BOTTOM LANE, MIXENDEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brow Bottom Lane from its junction with Clough Lane to junction with High Lees Road for a distance of approximately 240 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Hambleton Drive, High Lees Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(COMMERCIAL STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Excalon have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Commercial Street from its junction with Old Cock Yard to junction with King Edward Street for a distance of approximately 65 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via George Street, Powell Street, Fountain Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th February 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(OVENDEN WAY, OVENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Chevron Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ovenden Way from outside No. 199 to junction with Denfield Lane for a distance of PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Ovenden Road, Nursery Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 05:00.
(BIRCHCLIFFE ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Birchcliffe Road from No. 2 Birch Place to No. 1 Birchcliffe Road for a distance of approximately 70 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Birchcliffe
Road, Keighley Road, Akroyd Lane, Parrock Lane, Height Road, Wadsworth Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th February 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:30.
(SCHOOL STREET, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of School Street from its junction with Birchcliffe Road to No. 2 School Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Birchcliffe Road, Keighley Road, Akroyd Lane, Parrock Lane, Height Road, Wadsworth Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th February 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:30.
(TIMMEY LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Timmey Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to junction with Patricia Gardens for a distance of approximately 120 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, Tuel Lane, Hollins Lane, Hill Top and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th February 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BRIDLEWAY TODMORDEN 009, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Network Rail intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bridleway Todmorden 009 from Point A to Point B (as per map on site) for a distance of approximately 137 m metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. For alternative route see map. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd September 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
