What is happening?

CYNGOR SIR DDINBYCH AMRYWIOL FFYRDD, PRESTATYN RHYBUDD O ORCHYMYN GWAHARDD TRAFFIG DRWODD DROS DRO DEDDF RHEOLEIDDIO TRAFFIG FFYRDD 1984 - ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio'r rhannau hynny o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod. Mae angen cau'r ffyrdd er mwyn hwyluso'r gwaith o roi wyneb newydd arnynt, a wneir gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 29 lonawr 2024 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith barhau tan tua 9 Chwefror 2024.

Darnau o ffyrdd ym Mhrestatyn, Sir Ddinbych

1. Bridge Road; yn ymestyn i gyfeiriad y dwyrain o'i chyffordd 3 Sandy Lane at ei chyffordd a Bastion Road.

2. Bastion Road; sy'n ymestyn i gyfeiriad y gogledd o'i chyffordd a Bridge Road at ei chyffordd 3 Marine Road.

3. Station Road; yn ymestyn i gyfeiriad y dwyrain o'i chyffordd 3 Bastion Road am bellter o tua 53 medr.

Llwybr arall a argymhellir:

Bydd y llwybr amgen gydag arwyddion ar hyd Marine Road, Prestatyn Road, Gronant Road, Meliden Road, Ffordd Pendyffryn a Penisardre Road.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL VARIOUS ROADS PRESTATYN NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of roads referred to in the Schedule below. The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order is effective from 29th January 2024 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 9th February 2024.

Schedule

Lengths of Roads at Prestatyn in the County of Denbighshire

1. Bridge Road; extending eastward from its junction with Sandy Lane to its junction with Bastion Road.

2. Bastion Road; which extends northward from its junction with Bridge Road to its junction with Marine Road.

3. Station Road; extending eastward from its junction with Bastion Road for a distance of approximately 53 metres.

Recommended alternative route:

The signposted alternative route will be via Marine Road, Prestatyn Road, Gronant Road, Meliden Road, Ffordd Pendyffryn and Penisardre Road.
