What is happening?

CITY OF WESTMINSTER
20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE EXTENSION
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from exceeding 20 mph in the following roads and lengths of roads, which lie within the City of Westminster:

(a) Carlton Vale, between its junction with Kilburn Lane and Western Court, No. 245 Carlton Vale;
(b) Kilburn Lane;
(c) Kilburn Park Road; and

(d) Malvern Place, between its junction with Saltram Crescent and the common boundary of No. 157 Saltram Crescent and Nos. 1 to 16 Kilburn House, Malvern Place.

3. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, WSP House, 70 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1AF, or by email to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8042/LH, by 14th February 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
