What is happening?
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DOG KENNEL LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dog Kennel Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Berry Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with A404 Rickmansworth Road, a distance of approximately 932m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Common Gate Road, Chorleywood Bottom, Station Approach, Common Road and Dog Kennel Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SPRINGFIELD, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Springfield, Bushey Heath from a point 210m south east of its junction with A411 Elstree Road south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 73m ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Stratford Way, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Drive north eastwards to its junction with A411 Hempstead Road, a distance of approximately 246m.
An alternative route will be via Cassiobury Drive, Langley Way and A411 Hempstead Road.
2. that length of Sheepcot Lane, Watford from its junction with A405 North Orbital Road north eastwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with High Road, a distance of approximately 806m.
An alternative route will be via A405 North Orbital Road and High Road.
3. that length of Water Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove north eastwards to its junction with Bushey Hall Road, a distance of approximately 504m.
An alternative route will be via A411 (Beechen Grove/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill), B462 Aldenham Road and Bushey Hall Road or via Bushy Hall Road, B462 Aldenham Road, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road) and A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/Lower High Street/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove).
4. that length of Moor Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Dawes Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with The Green, a distance of approximately 1490m.
An alternative route will be via Dawes Lane and The Green.
5. that length of Dawes Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Moor Lane north eastwards to its junction with The Green, a distance of approximately 1219m.
An alternative route will be via Moor Lane and The Green.
6. that length of Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Hillside Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 110m.
An alternative route will be via Quickley Lane, Lower Road, Shire Lane, Heronsgate Road and Quickley Lane.
7. the service road fronting Nos.39-77 Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Quickley Lane south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Rendlesham Way, a distance of approximately 320m.
An alternative route will be via Quickley Lane and Rendlesham Way.
8. that length of Rendlesham Way, Chorleywood from its junction with Quickley Lane south eastwards to its junction with Furze View, a distance of approximately 115m.
An alternative route will be via Quickley Lane, Capell Way, Hubbards Road and Furze View. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Skidmore Way, Rickmansworth from its junction with Church Street north eastwards, south eastwards, northwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of High Elms Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with A405 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Woodside Road, a distance of approximately 1257m.
An alternative route will be via A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road), the M25 roundabout, A405 (North Orbital Road/St Albans Road/North Orbital Road), Horseshoe Lane and Woodside Road or via Woodside Road, Horseshoe Lane and A405 St Albans Road.
3. that length of Old Uxbridge Road, West Hyde from its junction with Tilehouse Lane north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its northernmost junction with A412 Denham Way, a distance of approximately 1350m.
An alternative route will be via Tilehouse Lane and A412 Denham Way.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Howton Place, Bushey Heath from its junction with A4140 High Road south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of The Chase, Watford from its westernmost junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road northwards, south eastwards and southwards to its easternmost junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road, a distance of approximately 336m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford from its junction with Observer Drive south westwards to its junction with Queen Marys Avenue, a distance of approximately 259m.
An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, A411 (Beechen Grove/ Exchange Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road), A4145 (Vicarage Road/Hagden Lane/ Tolpits Lane/Moor Lane), A404 (London Road/Church Street/Riverside Drive) and A412 (Rectory Road/ Park Road/Scots Hill/Watford Road/ Rickmanworth Road) or via A412 (Rickmansworth Road/Watford Road/Scots Hill/Park Road/Rectory Road), A404 (Riverside Drive/Church Street/London Road), A4145 (Moor Lane/Tolpits Lane/ Hagden Lane/Vicarage Road), A4178 (Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove) and A412 Rickmansworth Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE 'STRAIGHT AHEAD' EXIT ROAD LEADING FROM 'SAINSBURYS', WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the 'straight ahead' exit road leading from 'Sainsburys', Watford from a point 27m north east of its junction with A41 North Western Avenue south westwards to its junction with A41 North Western Avenue, a distance of approximately 27m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way), the A4008 Stephenson Way roundabout and A41 (North Western Avenue Colne Way/North Western Avenue). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cherry Tree Road, Watford from its junction with Leggatts Wood Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Leggatts Wood Avenue, Hazel Tree Road, Oakdene Road and Cherry Tree Road.
The Order is needed because gas connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Lower Road, Berks Hill and Hillside Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hyde Lane, Nash Mills from a point 97m north east of its junction with Abbots Langley Public Footpath No.011 north eastwards for a distance of approximately 193m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Hyde Lane, Lower Road, Bunkers Lane, Bedmond Road and Hyde Lane. The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.

1. that length of Oxhey Drive, South Oxhey from its junction with Seacroft Gardens north eastwards to its junction with B4542 Prestwick Road, a distance of approximately 118m.
An alternative route will be via Oxhey Drive, Gosforth Lane, Fairfield Avenue and B4542 Prestwick Road.
2. that length of Bridlington Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Oxhey Drive north westwards for a distance of approximately 124m.
An alternative route will be via Oxhey Drive, B4542 Prestwick Road, Fairfield Avenue and Bridlington Road. The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Astons Road, Moor Park from its junction with Batchworth Lane north eastwards to its junction with Anson Walk, a distance of approximately 75m ("the Road").

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-
1. that length of Chalfont Road, Maple Cross from its junction with Denham Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 102m.
An alternative route will be via the service road fronting Nos.1-3 and Nos.9-12 Crosslands, A412 Denham Way, Woodland Road, Hornhill Road and Chalfont Road.
2. the service road fronting Nos.1-3 and Nos.9-12 Crosslands, Maple Cross from its junction with Chalfont Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m.
An alternative route will be via Chalfont Road, Hornhill Road, Woodland Road, A412 Denham Way and the service road fronting Nos.1-3 and Nos.9-12 Crosslands.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (HAGDEN LANE, WATFORD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND REVOCATION OF PERMIT PARKING) ORDER 2024 PEDESTRIAN CROSSING NOTICE (HAGDEN LANE, WATFORD) 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions on part of Hagden Lane, Watford as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
It is also proposed under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to construct a Zebra pedestrian crossing facility on that length of Hagden Lane, Watford as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice. Existing permit holders parking places would be removed as part of these proposals, as specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice.
