What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Joiners Ln, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Joiners Lane for approx 142M. Alternative route: Joiners Lane, Ninnings Road, Copthall Lane, Gravel Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst gas mains work commence on 22 January 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 January 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Littleworth Rd, Downley) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Littleworth Road for approx 195M. Alternative route: Littleworth Road, Plomer Green Lane, High Street, Commonside and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ducting works commence on 25 January 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 January 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Stocking Ln, Naphill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Stocking Lane for approx 362M. Alternative route: Stocking Lane, Main Road, Clappins Lane, Speen Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water fit a stop tap and boundary box commencing on 22 January 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 January 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bigmore Ln, Stokenchurch) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bigmore Lane for approx 500M. Alternative route: Bigmore Lane, Marlow Road, Wycombe Road, Horsleys Green Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach clear blockages and rope duct commencing on 28 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Penn St, Penn) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Penn St for approx 117M. Alternative route: Penn St, Amersham Rd, Whielden Ln, New Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead cabling works commence on 16 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Ibstone Rd, Stokenchurch) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Ibstone Rd for approx 115M. Alternative route: Ibstone Rd, Oxford Rd, Marlow Rd, Fingest Ln, Fingest Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole replacement works commence on 17 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Hammersley Ln, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hammersley Ln for approx 101M. Alternative route: Hammersley Ln, London Rd, Cock Ln, New Rd, Church Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water new water supply works commence on 15 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Tylers Hill Rd, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Tylers Hill Rd for approx 658M. The closure is required whilst micro surfacing prep work commence on 9 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Orchard Ln, Prestwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Orchard Ln for approx 77M. Alternative route: Honor Rd, Nairdwood Ln, High St and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 22 Jan 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 Jan 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Gryms Dyke, Prestwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gryms Dyke for approx 132M. Alternative route: Honor Rd, Gryms Dyke and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 5 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(White Hill, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in White Hill for approx 24M. Alternative route: White Hill, Broad St, Eskdale Ave and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water service pipe repair works commence on 13 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 13 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Burtons Ln, Little Chalfont) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Burtons Ln for approx 60M. Alternative route: Burtons Ln, Chalfont Station Rd, Cokes Ln, Nightingales Ln, Roughwood Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection works commence on 14 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Packhorse Road for approx 159M. Alternative route: Packhorse Road, Kingsway, Chalfont St Peter Bypass, Amersham Road, Redhill, Oxford Road, Denham Avenue, Old Mill Road, Denham Roundabout, Fulmer Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water new connection works commence on 12 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bockmer Rd, Bockmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bockmer Rd for approx 10M. Alternative route: Main Rd, Hollow Ln, Skirmett Rd, Henley Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst thames water works commences on 5 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Lowndes Avenue, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lowndes Avenue for approx 55M. Alternative route: Lowndes Avenue, Chartridge Ln, Park Rd, St Marys Way, Bellingdon Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst affinity water works commences on 15 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Hare Ln, Little Kingshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hare Ln for approx 472M. Alternative route: Nags Head Ln, Windsor Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ukpn electrical works commences on 26 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
